We welcome writers and artists from any location, it does not matter what citizenship you hold. See below about submission languages.
Send your work by email to pitches@thearchipelago.org We prefer reading complete works, but also accept pitches for a piece you intend to create.
Make sure to tell us about yourself in your email. Let us know what experiences make you the best person to craft the piece you’re pitching us.
We are only able to reply to successful pitches. Note that we only consider original works, we will not consider works that have previously been published elsewhere.
All published pieces are paid. Payment rates vary depending on the length and complexity of the work.
Language and Translation
We accept works in فارسی , اَلْعَرَبِيَّةُ , Somali, မြန်မာဘာသာ, bahasa Indonesia, español, français and English.
We are open to reviewing writing that has been translated to English for the first time, as long as it is accompanied by the original.

Mentorship for new writers
We welcome new writers who are refugee people to join our writers collective, as well as experienced writers to help us mentor new members.
